Drunkin’ Pumpkin Candy Shake | A delicious Halloween cocktail made from Candy Corn M&Ms

I feel really comfortable blaming this whole post on Dorothy. I mean, it was her who first convinced me that I needed these. (Actually, she can take credit for the name too!)

And naturally, when I find a good candy . . . I must turn it into vodka. Must.

A week later, I had a delicious Candy Corn M&M infused vodka. The M&M’s did not all dissolve completely, but enough to make the vodka so delicious that I did not pass go, I did not collect $200, I did not take a picture of the finished product, I Just. Made. This.

So good. Candy Corn Creamy Vodka, Pumpkin Ice Cream, and Fat Free Creamer (because, you know . . . I’m trying to watch my girlish figure). Top it with a little whip cream and sprinkles, and you have what is essentially the milkshake version of a pumpkin latte. With booze.

Ummmm, yeah . . . . I’m going to need to make some more of that vodka.

Like now.

Not a big drinker? Pregnant? On serious pain killers after a root canal (sorry Nathan . . . . )? Well, how about a Kiddie Pumpkin Candy Shake? Just add a little more ice cream and a handful of M&Ms and blend it up blizzard style!

Candy Corn M&M Infused Vodka

  • 8 oz vodka,
  • about 20 Candy Corn M&Ms
  1. Pour the vodka over the M&Ms and shake.
  2. Shake several times a day for a week.
  3. Put a coffee filter in a strainer and put the strainer in a large 4 cup measuring cup. Pour in the vodka to let it strain.
  4. Eat the left over candy at your own risk . . . only about half of mine dissolved, but I got to impatient to wait anymore, and the vodka was still super delicious.

You’re amazing with this. That vodka…I NEED more of these M&Ms RIGHT NOW. Thank goodness I’m going to Walmart soon. :)

Do you think this would work with regular candy corn?? I’ve eaten so much in the last 2 weeks…it’s a hazard of the fall season.
Milkshakes of any kind are a winner in my book!

It would totally work with regular Candy Corn. If it’s candy, then I say dissolve it in vodka and mix it with ice cream!! : ) Just make sure to strain it first. It will help get rid of some of the waxy residue. The thing I do like about the M&Ms is that it adds a white chocolate layer that is missing from traditional, though delicious, Candy Corn.

Oh man, I feel you on turning delicious candy into vodka! I made five tiny bottles of Jolly Rancher vodkas and they were delicious! And that shake looks great, thanks for sharing it at The Fun In Functional!

Wow, looks wonderful. I am definitley going to have to make the M&M infused vodka. The Skittles and Jolly Rancher infused vodka was awsome. I will have to see if there is any left for the milk shake. And don’t worry, I blame all my sugar issues on Dorothy.
