This Picture Wall Hanging is made in under 15 minutes and makes such a great gift! But if it’s so cute you just want to keep it for yourself, I won’t tell!
I’m so happy to be working with Fuji Film INSTAX to bring you this easy craft. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Wine & Glue possible. Do you guys remember those Easy Scrapbooks I showed you how to make? I’m back with another fun craft using Fuji Film INSTAX! And this one is even easier, it’s basically fool proof! You guys, I love the INSTAX pictures so much. I loved them so much that Nathan got me the Instax Share Printer for my birthday this year! It is awwwwesome! And this is the perfect craft to make with all the pictures you print from it!
This Picture Wall Hanging is so easy to make and perfect for gift giving. I made the one you see here in under 15 minutes. While making lunch for Piper! You could totally make this for the grandparents for Christmas, and then send them new INSTAX pictures throughout the year to switch out. They would love it!
Anyway, should we get started? Start with your INSTAX printer, some film, and six of your favorite photos from your phone. It is so crazy easy to install the INSTAX app on your phone and then connect it to the printer and just print off your favorite photos.
Next you want to grab an old cookie sheet. I actually really love the ones with all the rust and stains. Then grab a sawtooth picture hanger from your local hardware store, some adhesive letters, glue, and magnets from the craft store, six alligator clips, and some nail polish remover.
The man at my hardware store gave me the great tip to rub on some nail polish remover to the back of the cookie sheet where I was gluing on the sawtooth picture hanger and some to the sawtooth, otherwise it wouldn’t adhere as well. I’m not sure if it made a difference or not, but that sucker is not moving!
Now glue the magnets onto the back of the alligator clips.
Now put your letters on your tray, and you are set! I also think it would be really cute to add the family’s name, of if you are giving one away, something like, Grandma’s Loves.
And what I love most about this gift is that you can keep updating. If Grandma and Grandpa live far away, you can easily send them six new photos at the end of each month to hang up . . . and print off the same six for yours!
Would you like to try out an Instax camera?
Today I’m giving away a gift card…..
Who would you give this great gift to this holiday season? Tell me in the comments for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card!
Good luck!
