I know, it looks like this post should be called snow peeing and I should be rushing Gavin to a urologist. But . . . . SNOW PAINTING!!

We had a lot of fun doing this, and it was really simple. I gathered up all the squeezy and spray bottles I could find in my house that were empty or near empty, and added water and food coloring. Then we bundled up and headed outside. Even Quinn came!

I found out later that afternoon that the poor kiddo had an ear infection! Sigh. She’s such a trooper.

We made a bunch of different colors, and used a bunch of different types of bottles. The sprayers made really cool patterns (think body spray bottles that you get from Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works . . . my mittens have a very fruity smell to them now). The squeeze bottles (like from the travel bins in the cosmetic section of Target) worked a lot better for Gavin but we ran out of liquid much more quickly. I’ll need to pick up a bunch more of those before we head out again.

Lots of fun on a snowy day though.

Snow-peeing, lol! (Though, I’ll admit, the thought did cross my mind…) ;) Seriously, though, I love this idea! I’m already planning a whole day of activities with some snow (from…ahem…my freezer), and this is at the top of the list! Thank you so much for sharing at Teach Me Tuesday!

Looks like great minds think alike, my friend :). You enjoyed your snow painting outside, I enjoyed mine inside :). I love the picture of you and Quinn. And Gavin, well, his pictures made me giggle. It looked like he had a lot of fun!
