Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 15 ounce cans black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeƱos
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 TBSP hot sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream optional
  • fresh cilantro chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • In a blender or a food processor, mince the garlic.
  • Add the black beans, the jalapeƱos, salt, pepper, cumin, and hot sauce. Blend until smooth.
  • Add in the cream cheese and blend until completely combined.
  • Transfer to a bowl, top with the sour cream and cilantro and serve with tortilla chips.
