Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 30 ounces black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a blender or a food processor, combine all of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  • Taste and add more salt or pepper to taste.
  • Transfer to a bowl, top with sour cream and cilantro, and serve with tortilla chips.
