  • 3 ounces tequila we used silver
  • 2 ounces cream of coconut
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • fresh limes for garnishing
  • toasted coconut for rimming glasses

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glasses and roll them in toasted coconut. This will work best on a glass that has texture to it.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the tequilla, cream of coconut, triple sec, and lime juice. Shake to combine.
  • Add ice to the prepared margarita glasses. Divide the contents of the cocktail shaker evenly between the two glasses. Serve and enjoy.
  • Read our instructions in the post to make a pitcher of Coconut Margaritas.
