- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 15 ounce cans black beans drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 TBSP hot sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream optional
- fresh cilantro chopped (optional)
In a blender or a food processor, mince the garlic.
Add the black beans, the jalapeños, salt, pepper, cumin, and hot sauce. Blend until smooth.
Add in the cream cheese and blend until completely combined.
Transfer to a bowl, top with the sour cream and cilantro and serve with tortilla chips.
