Creamy BLT Ranch Oven Baked Tacos
These Creamy BLT Ranch Oven Baked Tacos are the perfect easy dinner when you have had enough of your usual taco bake recipe.
- 6 slices of bacon diced
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 oz dry ranch seasoning mix
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 hard shell tacos
- 2 roma tomatoes diced
- 2 cups romain lettuce chopped
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until just crisp and remove from the pan. Drain off all of the bacon fat, but do not clean the pan.
Set the pan back over medium heat, and add the ground chicken and the ranch seasoning to the pan. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink. Stir in the cream cheese and stir until it is fully combined. Remove the chicken from the heat.
Arrange the 12 hard shell tacos in a 9 by 13 inch baking dish or a cast iron skillet. Divide the chicken ranch mixture between the tacos. Then top each taco with some of the bacon and some of the cheese.
Bake the tacos for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with tomatoes and lettuce. Enjoy immediately.
