Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream (I used light sour cream, I do not recommend fat free)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used light mayonnaise, I do not recommend fat free)
  • 1/2 cup skim milk (add up to 1/4 cup more to get the desired consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Whisk together the ingredients.
  • Taste to balance the flavors. You may decide that the recipe needs more garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, or lemon juice. Add them slowly (about 1/4 teaspoon at a time or less), and taste before adding more or anything else.
  • Use right away or store in the refrigerator for up to four days.

Notes

Please note that the calories are based on using light mayonnaise, light sour cream, and 3/4 cup skim milk.
