- 1 cup water (234.5 ml)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (198 grams)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together the sugar and water. Bring to a light simmer, stirring consistently.

Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from the heat, and stir in the cinnamon.
