Pimento Cheese Recipe

Pimento Cheese is such a simple recipe that is perfect to use as a dip or as a spread. It comes together easily and will be devoured quickly!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces diced pimento drained (see note 1)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt or dash table salt
  • dash black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer to blend the ingredients together.
  • Taste and add more cayenne powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Serve with crackers and vegetables.

Notes

Look for a small jar of pimentos (what you find in the middle of green olives) near the pickles and olives in the grocery store.
