Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup sugar (see note 1)
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 small onion grated (see note 2)

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Use immediately on a salad or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  1. If you are worried about how much sugar is in this dressing (3/4 cup), start with just 1/4 cup and add from there. Certainly, tastes vary, and if you love it with only 1/4 cup sugar, go for it.
  2. An alternative to grating your onion is to give the onion a rough chop and then put it in a food processor and blend until very finely chopped. Add the remainder of the dressing ingredients and blend to combine.
