I love making printables for you guys. It stretches my creative mind, and I (for the most part) just love staring at them when I’m done. I have told you before that I never post a recipe on my blog that I didn’t love, but I’m still not nearly as confident in my baking/cooking as I am in my printable making.

So I have another one for you! This would make a perfect neighbor gift. Just print off the label, and tape it to a jar of store-bought popcorn kernels. On one side is the directions for making a bag of popcorn from kernels, which I first found here, and on the other side is the to/from label. FYI, this is Target brand popcorn, though I think the label will fit most bottles.

Right now the Dollar Store is selling these cute little Popcorn bags that would be perfect to go along with this, you know, since you use a paper bag to pop it and all.

First I thought about the labels and then I thought about the bags, and then I thought how this could be a whole fun themed gift basket that would make a perfect teacher gift! Gavin’s teacher, who I just adore and couldn’t be more grateful for, has a few little kiddos of her own. I thought that this would be perfect for a movie night! So combined with some movie style candy, some popcorn boxes (I found mine in the Target dollar spot), and a gift card to Netflix, this makes a perfect easy teacher gift!

(PS The cute basket is from them Target dollar spot too!)

Have you read all those gift guides on what NOT to buy teachers (candles, mugs, ornaments, food . . . ), I have not seen a popcorn themed movie basket on there. Whew. I think we’re good to go. In all seriousness, I totally get those lists, one person cannot eat baked goods from 25 families, does not need 25 mugs, or 25 candles. Times 15 plus years in the field.

But everyone loves movies and popcorn. :)

This is so creative — and you’re right, I feel for those teachers who get inundated with cookies every year!
