This Family Guess Who Game is easy to put together and so fun to play! I’m so happy to be partnering with McDonald’s to talk about this and Happy Family Moments! As always, all opinions are my own.
A Guess Who Game that has been personalized to a family.
You guys, it has been COLD in the Midwest! And my family is for sure getting a case of cabin fever. It is so much easier to have nice family time together in the summer, don’t you think? Walks outside, trips to the beach, eating popsicles on the deck… or maybe I’m just a big baby and thinking about how much I hate winter. But it’s like we need to go the extra mile to have family fun in the winter.

One of the ways we do that in the winter is trips to see family out of town, especially around the holidays. My kids love seeing their cousins, but they all live an hour or more out of town. A lot of times that means driving in the car close to mealtime. Very often we get our kids McDonald’s Happy Meals while we are hitting the road because they love it and also because it makes life so much easier while also getting them a well-rounded meal that fills them up for fun family time! A photo of a children's meal from Mcdonalds with 4 Chicken McNuggets, Cuties, fries, and milk.
And we are so excited that Cuties are back at McDonald’s right now! They are one of a couple great options for sides in Happy Meals. My kids love Cuties. We keep bags of them in our house all the time and the kids go through them like crazy. Actually I had to grab another for Piper when taking these pictures so she wouldn’t snag it out of the frame.

Happy Meals and Cuties keep my kids full so that even if we are combating the cold, we aren’t comparing hangry children. And once they aren’t hangry we can focus on having fun with them. One of our fun winter activities is playing board games. We have a TON! But I have wanted a Family Guess Who for ages, ever since making this. I made this version using my Silhouette software. You can download a free version here. And even if you don’t have the cutting machine, you can still make the pieces you need for the game, print them out and then cut them by hand.

Once you have it downloaded, open the picture you want to use for your family member. Measure the space opening on Guess Who (we got ours from Good Will), and then make a square that size. Put it over the face, and then under the modify tab, click intersect. You can then add their names and the colors. Just remember you need two of every face.

Then you just need to make bigger cards for the picking and you are done!

You can watch Gavin and I playing below and here us talking all about how much we love Happy Meals and Cuties! I love the questions we needed to ask each other, “Is your family member young or old??” A photo of a children's meal from Mcdonalds with 4 Chicken McNuggets, Cuties, fries, and milk.

My #HappyFamilyMoments are when we go to Mcdonalds and have a fun meal and then hit the park together for a family day.

  2. Tara Huff says

We like to go on family walks to the park!

  3. Betty C says

Our #happyfamilymoment during wintertime is when we have our weekend movie night staying up late and eating the treats we have made.

  4. Kimmy Ripley says

My favorite #HappyFamilyMoments are on Sundays. That is my husband’s only day off from work. We always go out to eat somewhere with my daughter. My daughter and I always look forward to Sunday.

Just spending time together particularly outdoors. Since it’s winter my favorite is snow walks. Late night walks in the snow where we bundle up and pull out flashlights to shine the way.

The Personalized Guess Who game is a great idea! Our #HappyFamilyMoments include games and movies, especially during the cold winter months. The boys love to be outside but with the temps like they are today I have to limit them to 15 minute intervals, its right around zero here!

I take the kids to McDonalds every once and a while, so for our #HappyFamilyMoments, they are few, but when there, have a good time in the play area; the food has gotten a lot healthier.
