WHAT GOES INTO CHERRY CHEESECAKE FRUIT FLUFF?

  • Cream Cheese
  • Cheesecake Pudding Mix, though if you can’t find that just use vanilla.
  • Vanilla extract
  • Milk
  • Cool Whip, if you prefer not to use cool whip, you can use homemade cool whip, which is stabilized with gelatine.
  • Cherry Pie Filling
  • Mini Marshmallows

It’s so simple and so easy to throw together.

TIPS FOR THIS CHERRY CHEESECAKE FLUFF

Does it seem super ridiculous to give you tips for a simple recipe? Guys. We are all at different abilities. Don’t judge. Some of us can’t even ball a melon.

  1. Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. I like to a fill a small bowl with water, microwave it for 5 minutes, empty it, and then put that over the cream cheese that is still in the foil wrap but out of the cardboard box. Even right out of the refrigerator that brings it to room temperature in about 10 minutes.
  2. As mentioned above, I used cool whip, but you could certainly make homemade whipped cream and then stabilize it following this great recipe from Something Swanky.
  3. If you watch the video for this, you will see that I didn’t mix the cool whip in with the beater before adding the cherries and marshmallows. That was so I could get that pretty picture of all the ingredients in the bowl you see above. Don’t be like me, guys. Whip the cool whip in with the cream cheese and other liquid ingredients before adding the cherries and marshmallows.

Where are the nutrition Information. I click on it but doesn’t come up

    • Lisa Longley says

I’m sorry, Mary. A lot of my recipes have nutritional information, but not all of them. Especially some of the older ones. I suggest using My Fitness Pal, it’s a great free app I use to calculate.

  2. Laurie says

I’ve made something very similar to this but used crumbled up graham cracker crust in it. Sooooooooo yummy! Tastes so close to actual cherry cheesecake.

  4. Karen says

How long must I leave it in the refrigerator before I can eat it?

    • Lisa Longley says

Hi Karen! It is ready to eat right away, it just should be eaten within 24 hours.

  5. Angela says

I made this real early this morning for the first time and it is really really good.

  6. Ashlee Rosser says

The recipe says to refrigerate up to 24 hrs and enjoy. I read it as to do it in that order. Do you think it is still good after 24 hrs?

    • Lisa Longley says

The bananas might be a bit brown and it is possible it will separate.

  7. Erika says

I would make this for parties and celebrations. What could I serve with this so it’s not just fluff? Maybe graham crackers ? And what else?

    • Lisa Longley says

Are you thinking to dip? Graham Crackers are probably your best bet.

Sadly not quite what I expected. I wanted a ‘fluff’ recipe & this fails. While mixing the cream cheese, cool whip & pudding mix it got very gummy & hard to mix. I didn’t even use the full amount of pudding mix either. 10 oz of mini marshmallows is a bit too much as well. Maybe 5-7 oz of marshmallows would be better?
If your wanting a light fluffy dessert this isn’t it.

    • Lisa Longley says

I’m so sorry this didn’t work out for you. What you are describing isn’t my experience with this at all. Without being there with you, it’s hard to know what went wrong.

  9. Louetta Hollyfield says

Can I cut up some cherry pie and add to the recipe?? I had it once somewhere and I could taste pie crust in it. Thanks

    • Lisa Longley says

I’m sorry, I haven’t tested them that way.
