Cookies and Cream Pudding Shots are a magical little creation that combines cookies and cream instant pudding, milk, more crushed cookies, and cake-flavored vodka!

Move over jello shots, there’s a new dessert cocktail in town! Pudding shots are becoming all the rave and it’s no wonder. They are creamy, delicious, and boozy. Little shots of heaven to brighten up any party.
These cookies & cream pudding shots are irresistible! They come together with just a handful of ingredients and are so delicious.
Pudding Shot Ingredients
- Cookies and cream instant pudding mix: Don’t prepare the pudding, you will just use the mix for this recipe.
- Milk
- Cake-flavored vodka
- Crushed Oreos and whole Oreos for garnish if desired. You can put the cookies in your blender or food processor for a few seconds to crush them.
Serving
These are amazing on their own. But if you want to make them for a party, consider making some whipped cream to go on top and adding a whole or some crushed Oreos.
Making Pudding Shots Ahead of Time
Because these pudding shots need a few hours in the refrigerator to set, they are a great recipe to make the day before or ahead of time. Combine all of the ingredients and store the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day in advance. Pipe or disperse the mixture into shot glasses when ready to enjoy.
You can also buy disposable shot glasses that come with lids if you want to distribute the shot mixture and store prepared shots in the refrigerator. (I love using them for my jello shots too!) Since they contain milk, you will want to keep them cold.
Storing
Store any leftover pudding shots in the refrigerator for up to four days in an airtight container. As with all recipes, use your best discretion when it comes to leftovers.

If you make these cookies and cream pudding shots or any of my other recipes, I’d love to know what you think!

These sound amazing! I plan on making them for a party I’m hosting in a week. I wanted to ask though, what kind of container do you use for the pudding shots? I’m not sure how much is in each shot and I want to make sure I get appropriate sized cups! Would you suggest a 2oz or 4oz or something else? Thank you!
The one I used are 2 ounces, but you could really use any size you would like!

How many does one batch make if 2oz

I was wondering if these could be made with the whip cream mixed into the pudding mix before putting into the shot cups. This would allow them to be made more portable if taking to a party, etc. If so, would the recipe need to be changed any?
I haven’t tried this with adding whipped cream. I think if you wanted to make them portable, I would suggest buying salad dressing containers. They have covers, you can usually find them in the grocery store with other containers, and while they wouldn’t be as pretty, they would be very portable.

can these be made with plain vodka
Yes!

Can you put these in the freezer or do they need to be chilled in refrigerator
I always chill them in the refrigerator.
