It is game day season, my friends! And I think you all know my favorite part about game day season! The snacks!! I have so many recipes on the blog that make great game day food . . . . enough to make up a whole tailgating party worth! I love tailgating parties because they contain all of my favorite kinds of recipes. And I have so many of them here for you today, plus a bunch of great tailgating ideas – all of which I was able to pull together with the help of my local Meijer store. But first, this awesome Dill Dip Recipe.

What is in Dill Dip?

This Dill Dip Recipe comes together with just a few simple ingredients and is the perfect dip recipe for your tailgating party!

  • sour cream
  • mayonnaise
  • diced onion
  • dried dill weed
  • dried parsley
  • kosher salt

I love how easy this dip is to make! Made with True Goodness products from Mejier, it’s totally perfect to serve with some of their new Wavy Chips and locally sourced produce. You guys, I wanted to eat this whole bowl and bag by myself. They are the perfect match made in heaven!

This Dill Dip Recipe was just the beginning of my tailgate party though! I made so many great recipes for this amazing UW Badgers tailgating party we hosted!

One of the main dishes that I made for this tailgating party was my Taco Pasta Salad! It’s one of the most popular recipes on my blog for good reason. It’s delicious, simple to make and perfect for feeding a crowd. I bought some amazing Certified Angus Beef brand hamburger meat. I love how it is always perfect quality. I also got some Meijer French Dressing and Nacho Chips. Those are the two key ingredients for this guy.

In addition to the ingredients for all my recipes, Meijer has everything else you need to put together the perfect tailgating experience. They have everything from drinks, to the best University of Wisconsin plates, napkins, cups, and table cloths, to the perfect UW shirts! Don’t you love it? It is literally the most comfortable t-shirt I’ve ever owned. I’m kind of in love with it.

also have the BEST table from Meijer that was perfect for this tailgate party. I love it because it is long and thin, which is perfect for a party like this, and it folds up small, so it’s easy to take on the go. It also adjusts to multiple heights, from the height you see here, all the way down to coffee table height. Guys, this is the table I use every single day to shoot all my recipes on!

I even found cute clothes for little kiddos! How cute is this shirt on Piper?? She is trying to snag one of my Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars that is totally perfect for a tailgating party. And by trying, I mean, she is totally and completely grabbing one and then running off to tell her older brother and sister what she got to have and they didn’t.

And finally, I made my Honey BBQ Instant Pot Cocktail Meatballs! They are great for any tailgate party and perfect with a little extra of Meijer’s honey! I love this recipe for get togethers, and I love how easy they are to make! (PS – you can buy Instant Pots at Meijer too).

Be sure to head to Meijer for all your tailgating needs! I love shopping at Meijer because everything is so easy to find, there are always great deals, and the people are so friendly. Be sure to follow Meijer on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest to find the latest deals and you can download their app!

Dill Dip Recipe for Chips and Vegetables

As I mentioned above, this dip recipe is great for both chips and vegetables. Here are a few tips to make it the best:

  1. I think this recipe gets better the longer it sits in your fridge, but I love that it takes only about 5 minutes of prep. It’s still great if you decide to just make it at the last minute too.
  2. If you don’t feel like dicing up an onion, just use some dried onion from the pantry.
  3. I love adding a little fresh dill to the top of this for color, but it’s definitely not necessary.

I love this dip! I use ALOT of fresh dill which grows in my garden. I use fat free yoghurt instead of sour cream and tell myself this is healthy eaten with veggies!
