Happy Monday, my friends! Around these parts we are having the most whirlwind August ever. I am in the middle of two business trips, with one last week and one this coming week. I’m actually about to jump onto a plane bound for NYC, so this post will be as simple and sweet as this cocktail.

The Best Frozen Moscow Mule Recipe

This recipe is so simple and easy and yields this amazing frozen Moscow Mule. It takes traditional the Moscow Mule recipe and spins it into this amazing and simple Moscow Mule Slush.

Traditional Moscow Mules have a few simple ingredients, making it such a perfect drink to make spin offs of!

Moscow Mule Ingredients

  • Vodka – I really love using a quality vodka in this because it makes for a smooth Moscow Mule, so I usually grab Titos.
  • Ginger Beer – You can find so many brands of ginger beer these days because this is such a popular cocktail. If you like a less strong drink, grab an alcohol free brand.
  • Lime Juice

How to Make Frozen Moscow Mules

So this spin on the traditional Moscow Mule is so ingenious. It’s a recipe that my awesome neighbor gave me. It has just three easy ingredients!

Frozen Moscow Mule Ingredients

  1. You need Ginger Beer. As I said above, you can find lots of different brands, and you can even go with a non alcoholic. I’ve also subbed in ginger ale in my Moscow Mules, and I find that delicious!
  2. You also need two cups of vodka.
  3. Finally, you need some limeade concentrate. Find it with the frozen juice concentrates.

That’s it! Can you believe it!?

Making these Frozen Moscow Mules

These couldn’t be more simple. Just combine all the ingredients in a freezable container. Freeze overnight, and then scoop them up and serve. SO EASY!

Can these be put in popsicle molds?

    • Lisa Longley says

I haven’t tried that but I don’t think they would get solid enough to be popsicles.

  2. Nikki says

Does the carbonation stay in the drink after its frozen? Because you need carbonation in a mule .

  3. Taylor says

FYI for future posts and recipes. If I’m not mistaken ALL ginger Beer is Non Alcoholic

    • Lisa Longley says

You can actually buy it both ways. With alcohol and without.

      • Delia Crocco says

Roughly 8 cocktails depending on your pour.

  5. Beth says

Love Moscow Mules! I am on a low carb diet and am wondering if there is something to replace the limeade since it has so much sugar,

    • Lisa Longley says

I wonder if you could use a diet lemon lime soda, a little lime juice, and some diet ginger ale instead. You would have to play with the amounts to get the flavor right.

  6. Chrissy says

Is this recipe calling for the alcoholic type of ginger beer, or the non-alcoholic kind?

    • Lisa Longley says

I used the alcoholic kind and that is what I would recommend, but it would I think it would still work with non-alcoholic.

  7. Dan says

If it’s got 2 cups of vodka in it, does it really matter if the ginger beer is alcoholic or not?

    • Lisa Longley says

It’s a personal choice, Dan. I love the ginger beer, but it isn’t strictly necessary.
