Tips and Tricks

  • Use fresh ingredients. The bars will taste much better with fresh cereal and marshmallows.
  • Line your baking pan with parchment paper. For easy removal of your Rice Krispie bars, line the pan with two pieces of parchment paper, one piece that runs the width of the pan, and one piece that runs the length.
  • Make gluten free bars: You can use gluten-free Rice Krispies and gluten-free Oreos if you need to make these bars for someone who can’t have gluten. Always check your ingredients.

Storing Bars

These bars can be stored in an airtight container or tightly covered for up to four days. They do not need to be refrigerated.
