I’m always looking for different ways to make cocktail party drinks. An amazing combination of flavors and booze that will be the perfect thing to make for a get-together. I want it to make a nice pitcher, come together fast, and most of all, I want it to be delicious!

Plus, it definitely doesn’t hurt for it to be bubbly. This strawberry rosé sangria recipe fits all of that!

How to Make Sangria With Rosé

The key to any great sangria recipe is combining wine or champagne with the right liquor and some fruit to get the perfect balance of flavors. With this sangria, everything is added right to the pitcher you are serving it out of. I love making this right before serving because I love making it with chilled sparkling rosé. If you aren’t using sparking rosé, you can make it in advance and keep it chilled until you are ready to serve it.

Rosé Wine For Sangria

The best wine for sangria varies depending on what other ingredients you are using and what flavors you are going for. For example, in my red wine sangria I love using brandy and triple sec. In my white wine sangria, I love using citrus vodka and orange liqueur (like cointreau).

In this sangria recipe, we are using sweet rosé champagne, which adds some carbonation and plenty of sweetness. It pairs perfectly with vanilla vodka and amaretto. Both of those make the sangria sweeter, so if you like your drinks less sweet, start with a dry rosé.

Adding Fruit

Strawberries add both fresh flavor and bright color to the rosé sangria recipe. Either fresh or frozen sliced strawberries will work. Frozen strawberries are great when fresh berries aren’t in season and may be easier to keep on hand. They will also help keep the sangria cold, but will not look as crisp once they start to thaw.

You could absolutely mix this up and add different fruit, like cherries or raspberries.

Rose Sangria

Serves: 4 servings
(tap # to scale)
Prep: 5 minutes
Total: 5 minutes
This rosé sangria recipe with vodka is the perfect easy drink for a party or get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 750 milliliter bottle sweet sparkling rosé chilled (see note 1)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla vodka (see note 2)
  • 1/2 cup amaretto
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • club soda optional (see note 3)

Instructions

  • Combine the rosé, vodka, amaretto, and strawberries in a large pitcher. Give it a gentle stir.
  • Serve immediately in glasses and top with club soda, if desired.

Notes

  1. If you are making this with a still rosé, you can make this in advance and keep it chilled until serving. If you are using sparkling it should be made just before serving.
  2. You can also use regular vodka in this, but note that it will make it less sweet. You may want to consider this when picking out your rosé.
  3. I love keeping club soda on the side because it will stretch the servings a bit, but it is also great to make the cocktails a little less strong or less sweet if that is what your guests prefer.
