These Candy Corn Candles are about as easy as it gets when it comes to Halloween crafting!

For whatever reason, Halloween is my favorite holiday to craft for. These Easy Candy Corn Candles are so easy! I got the candles at the dollar store, and then all you need is a little spray paint. I love the spluttery look, and because I don’t use painters tape, I don’t need to wait the full 24 hours for it to dry.

How to Make Candy Corn Candles

  1. Purchase white candles in glass jars. I bought mine at the dollar store, but you can also find them on Amazon.
  2. Spray the bottom two thirds with orange spray paint. Let it dry for 20 minutes.
  3. Spray the bottom third with yellow spray paint. Let them dry overnight.

Tips and Tricks

  • Paint outdoors. If it is a windy day, paint inside of your garage. This will prevent grass or the newspaper as your work surface blowing up and sticking to the wet paint.
  • Use smooth and even movements when you use spray paint.
  • Don’t use too much paint. This will result in dripping.
  • Use wax paper on top of newspaper. This makes for easy clean up and the candles won’t stick to the wax paper after the paint has dried.
