The ingredients for some overnight oats are shown (banana, apple, strawberries, oats, and Horizon's 2% Milk)

RECIPE 1: APPLE CINNAMON OVERNIGHT OATS

Vibrant and spicy, this overnight oats recipe has sweet apples with a hint of warm cinnamon, sweetened with honey. The apples soften overnight, but don’t become mushy so they’re the perfect texture by the time you’re ready to eat. Definitely a hearty way to start your day!

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 1/2 cup Horizon Organic 2% Milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 an apple cut up
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

In a clear glass, the Apple Cinnamon Overnight oats is topped with sliced red apples and sprinkled with cinnamon

RECIPE 2: CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER OVERNIGHT OATS

This one is quite possibly my favorite morning treat! Loaded with creamy peanut butter and the perfect chocolate flavor, you could easily serve this as an after school snack too. It’s hearty and nutritious but sweet enough to taste like a dessert. I love how the honey and peanut butter blend together with the cocoa powder. So yummy!

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 1/2 cup Horizon Organic 2% Milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 TBSP cocoa powder

Note: If you like your oatmeal thinner, add a little more milk to this one.

RECIPE 3: STRAWBERRY BANANA OVERNIGHT OATS

This overnight oats recipe is sweetened with fresh strawberries and jam, thickened with ripe banana and milk. It’s like having your favorite smoothie all warmed up with delicious oatmeal. Make sure to use ripe bananas which are easier to mash than bananas that haven’t had a chance to get soft enough yet.

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 1/2 cup Horizon Organic 2% Milk
  • 1 TBSP strawberry preserves
  • 1/4 cup diced strawberries
  • 1/2 a banana mashed up

In a clear glass, the Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats is topped with sliced strawberries.

RECIPE 4: PUMPKIN PIE OVERNIGHT OATS

You’ll love this recipe in the autumn months! Warm cinnamon and pumpkin spice oatmeal is such a delicious fall breakfast!

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 1/2 cup Horizon Organic 2% Milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Note: If you like your oatmeal thinner, add a little more milk to this one.

These sound delicious but could you give me more instructions please. Like mix in jar? Refrigerate overnight? Microwave to heat?

    Thanks

    • Lisa Longley says

You are absolutely right. Mix in a jar and refrigerate overnight. But I will tell you a secret, they really only need like an hour. I didn’t heat mine, but if you like your oatmeal hot, heating would be great!
