It’s Friday! Cheers!!

Life has been a little chaotic lately . . .

A lot chaotic.

But I wanted to make sure I said

Thank you.

I just have the most wonderful readers.

I have been so touched by all the comments and emails that I get.

Some that just tell me that they can relate to what I’m talking about. Others that boost my little ego and tell me how wonderful x, y, or z was. And some that tell me that they laughed out loud while reading. I must admit, I am partial to the laughed out loud emails and comments.

Something I struggle with a lot as a blogger is what to share and how much of it.

In all honesty, my favorite part of this gig is the writing.

A long term pie in the sky dream of mine is to write a book about this crazy journey that I have had the last five years and what I have learned about grief, parenthood, and life. I’m no expert, but I figure that there is someone out there who could benefit from hearing my story and learning that your world can literally crash down around you and you can be fine.

{Woah. It’s kind of terrifying to put that out there.}

I sometimes worry that I will scare away potential readers with my war stories.

And it makes it hard to be really honest about life.

And then I see something like this . . .

Each time I look at this*, it makes me choked up. Probably because it validates for me that it’s okay to write about what I know, and what I know is grief . . . and survival, and love, and fear, and frustration and all those other things that aren’t as popular on Pinterest.

Thank you.

Thank you for reading, thank you for commenting, thank you for giving me this little space where I can write and share delicious recipes and crazy little crafts and anything else that makes it way through my brain.

Please know that all those sweet words that you send my way make my chaotic moments with this gig totally worth it.

*I removed that sweet readers name, not because I don’t totally appreciate her, goodness, she pins so much of what I do, but to give her a little anonymity in case she wants it.
