Yogurt Sauce comes together with just five ingredients. Fantastic as a dip, but it is also perfect on our Greek Turkey Burgers and would be amazing on our Baked Salmon too.

It is possible that I am a little obsessed with homemade condiments. I think it is just that they are so easy to whip together, and I usually have everything I need for them right in my refrigerator.

This yogurt sauce is no different. I developed this recipe as a topping for my Greek Burgers, but it truly could be used in so many different ways. With how healthy it is, it would also make a great dip for veggies!

Ingredients for Yogurt Sauce

The ingredients for this Greek yogurt sauce are so simple, you may even have them on hand already. In addition to salt and pepper, there are just three things you will need to make it.

  • Plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • Garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make Yogurt Sauce

This homemade yogurt sauce whips up in a bowl in minutes. For the full recipe including all measurements, please scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Whisk the ingredients together. Make sure everything is mixed well.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Start with just a pinch, mix, and taste again.

What to Serve it With

This garlic yogurt sauce is delicious on my Greek Burgers. I mix it up while the burgers are cooking and it is the best complement to the flavors and other toppings.

As mentioned above it would also be amazing on our Baked Salmon or as a dipping sauce for my amazing Spinach Balls. Or you can always just use it for a dipping sauce with veggies!

Greek Burgers

Greek Burgers are easy to make and full of delicious flavors. These make a perfect summer meal, but we make them all year long in our skillet pan. There is a lot to love about this easy spin on turkey burgers!

Storing Leftovers

This homemade sauce would be delicious on fresh meals along with leftovers. Extra sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. Always use your best discretion with leftovers.
