If you are looking for a fancy and delicious drink for Valentine’s Day . . . . or just a random Tuesday night, make this Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini recipe! It tastes just like a chocolate covered cherry. This martini is smooth, creamy, and tastes like dessert in a martini glass. It is sure to impress!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini Ingredients

  • Cherry Flavored Vodka: This is a nice way to add the cherry flavor, without watering down your martini.
  • Creme de Cocoa: A sweet chocolate flavored liqueur that you can find in a number of different brands. I like to go with a clear version to keep that beautiful pink color.
  • Heavy Cream: This gives you the creamy delicious consistency that you want.
  • Grenadine: This will enhance the cherry flavor and bring in the beautiful pink color.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini

This is a brief overview of how to make this delicious cocktail. For the full recipe with all of the measurements, see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  1. Prepare your glasses. Drizzle chocolate syrup into the martini glass. Put the glass in the freezer to let it set.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. I like using a metal shaker because you know your martini will be ice cold once you start feeling that shaker get cold.
  3. Finish off the cocktail. Add all of the ingredients to the shaker. Shake vigorously to combine. Strain the drink into the prepared martini glass.

Serving

As mentioned above, I like to line the martini glasses with a drizzle of chocolate sauce first. You can certainly do that with the traditional bottle that you top with your ice cream sundaes. I also like this syrup because the drizzle is so fine and it can really make those perfect lines.

I also love serving these with a few maraschino cherries on the edge of the glass as you see here.

TOP PICK

Chocolate Syrup

I love this chocolate syrup. It decorates glasses so well.
