Cocktails that double as dessert are my favorite! This great orange creamsicle cocktail has been super popular on Simple Joy for almost 10 years!

I decided recently that it needed a photo update. You won’t be disappointed by how delicious and easy this great cocktail is.

How to Make Orange Creamsicle

Step 1: Add Orange Soda

Fill a tall glass with orange soda. Since we aren’t using ice cubes in this recipe, I like to start with a chilled soda.

Step 2: Add Vodka

This option is of course optional, but if you are making an Orange Creamsicle Cocktail, it’s a pretty important step. I usually shy away from flavored vodkas, but in this recipe vanilla vodka, cake vodka, or whipped cream vodka are all really fun options.

Step 3: Add Ice Cream

Stir in a scoop of vanilla ice cream to really complete the vibe of that organ popsicle we all love so much. Then I like to garnish it with an orange slice.

Serving

I love serving these orange creamsicles in mason jars with handles. The ones linked below aren’t the exact mugs pictured here (I got those at Dollar Tree years ago), but I love that these are affordable and come with lids and straws.
