A strawberry daiquiri is the perfect way to cool off. This cocktail is easy to make with just four ingredients plus ice!
Nothing makes you feel like you are on vacation quite like a frozen cocktail. I typically save frozen daiquiris for a beach vacation, but making them at home is a great way to escape for an hour!
These strawberry daiquiris are so easy to make and a wonderful variation on one my very favorite cocktails, the classic daiquiri. They are as simple as throwing together a few ingredients in a blender and adding some ice. You will absolutely love them.
Strawberry Daiquiri Ingredients
Just four ingredients are all you need to make these refreshing strawberry daiquiris. For the full recipe including all measurements, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Frozen strawberries: Using frozen strawberries eliminates the need for more ice cubes, which means your drink won’t get watered down. They are also easy to keep on hand, and you don’t have to wait until fresh berries are in season to make a strawberry daiquiri.
- Simple syrup: Adds just enough sweetness to balance the other ingredients. You can adjust the amount to taste if you like a sweeter drink. Simple syrup is a great staple to keep on hand for all of your favorite cocktails and is so easy to make at home.
- White rum: White rum adds a smooth, slightly sweet kick without overpowering the fresh strawberry flavor. White or light rum pairs perfectly in this tropical cocktail.
- Lime juice: I always recommend using freshly squeezed lime juice in cocktails because it has the freshest flavor.
- Ice cubes: Give the cocktail its cold, slushy texture.

How to Make a Strawberry Daiquiri
Here is a brief overview of how this strawberry daiquiri recipe comes together. Be sure to scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post to see the full recipe, including all ingredients and their measurements.
- Combine ingredients in your blender. I share my favorite blender for making this recipe below.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses. Hurricane glasses or stemless wine glasses are great for serving. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry. Enjoy!
Getting Juice From Limes
Fresh lime juice adds a refreshing touch to this cocktail recipe. To get the most juice from your limes, start by microwaving them for 20 seconds. Then roll them on the counter for 30 seconds. Cut the limes in half and squeeze the juice from them, or use a juicer.
How to Make Non Alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiris
If you want to make a virgin strawberry daiquiri, replace the white rum with 1 1/2 cup of lemon lime soda like 7Up or Sprite. It replaces the alcohol really well and works as a great substitute. Blend everything together and enjoy!
